Makin' Love to the Axe

It looks silly without the music but makes sense when you realize that when this picture was taken Jefe (who thought he was alone) was belting out his heartfelt rendition of “Like a Virgin.”

Lowenbraus and Rooks

It only takes half a warm Lowenbrau but you never know what you’re going to get when alcohol starts working its magic on Moco. Hotel Saint Francis bar, circa 2003. My sweater still smells like a cigar from that night. Moco, did you have strep throat? Look at the color of your throat, man! It matches Jefe’s shirt.

The boys undoubtedly up to something obscene, if not downright illegal. Taken at the bar of the Hotel Saint Francis, Santa Fe, NM, circa 2003. These kinds of tobacco-and-alcohol-induced juntas with such seedy types are not for the faint of heart, my friend.

Cardsharks

These greasy cardsharks were out for blood one night in Oaxaca. I think the one with the jewelry was going for the Ricky Martin look. Anyway he really liked “Menudo” and was waiting eagerly for their reunion tour. The one dealing cards wasn’t wearing pants, but I don’t think he realized it.
